Thank you to everyone who joined us for the first Christopher J. Benotto Memorial Classic. Your support, generosity and enthusiasm made the day truly special and helped us honour Chris’ memory in a meaningful way. We are incredibly grateful to every golfer, sponsor, volunteer and donor who helped make the tournament a success.
HIS STORY
A Round for Chris
Chris grew up just steps from Dominion Golf & Country Club, where many
of his early memories were made sneaking onto the course after hours
to hit balls under the fading light.
Golf was always there, but it became something deeper later in life when his sons discovered the game themselves. From that point on, there was nowhere he would rather be than out on the course, sharing laughs, a cold beer,
and the kind of moments with his boys that meant everything to him.
When illness took him off the course, it was something he felt deeply.
The game he loved, and the time it gave him with his sons, was never far from his mind. Today, we carry that forward by coming together to play, to share those same moments, and to keep his spirit alive with every round.

Our goal is to build an event that grows year after year, bringing people together in Chris’ memory while making a meaningful difference.
Proceeds from the tournament will support the For the Love of Grace Program and research taking place at the University of Windsor in the area of fatty liver disease, including MASLD.
Through registrations, sponsorships, and donations, every contribution helps support important research and provide care for animals who need it most.
This is only the beginning. Each year, we hope to return stronger, grow the event, and continue Chris’ legacy through causes that mean so much to our family.
